METAL

Metal head-joints are hand-made from a copper or silver plaque that is welded in a tube and all mesures are design by Fernando Harms. Weld and modeling techniques of the tubes and lip-plate belong are methods developed in this atelier trough testing and rethinking that resulted in a standard process for this particular models, but they are constantly evolving and improving as each piece is a challenge on it self. This process is more heavy than a wooden head-joint, as it requires a lot more of physical strength, accuracy and craft.
